Opening Ceremonies
The event opens with a spectacular parade composed of millions of natives
and visitors alike. The participants march in rhyththm to the loud celebratory
music, from Amber's home grown heavy military drum and horn to exotic Shadow
anthems of joy and festivity, ebbing and flowing in from the harbor districts
, the Western Marches, and the Forest of Arden, merging together into a
single powerful unified column of will at the steps of Amber City, guided
by the wary Amber Guard in their green and gold formal uniforms and Arden
Rangers dressed in camouflage with ornate green and gold capes clipped to
their shoulders while seated upon sturdy dark mounts.
From there the parade continues into the outskirts of downtown where the
thriving markets, restaurants, shops, peddlers and other constant urbanites
exist, and then deeper into the heart where banners and pennants hang from
rooflines, and Amber fighter craft perform spectacular feats overhead of
the more modern Republic influenced districts. To the left, the white marbled
St. Rilga's Hospital, in the middle lay the ivy covered Amber University's
sprawling campus, to the far right the distant spire of the Unicorn Chapel
is visible above a line a trees, while interwoven stand the banks, the corporate
interests and an inprogress construction of a new shopping center, KashMart.
But taller and more magnificent than all other structures, stands the ever
vigilent DuBuis Twin Towers, reigning supreme touching the sky.
From this point the parade slows through closed off traffic lanes and building
complex ground levels with vendors pushing their food and gifts upon all
while the participants move to ascend Mt. Kolvir, passing along the outer
edges of well tended and secured noble estates and towards the ultimate
goal, the indominable archetectual centerpiece and immortal home throughout
the ages, Castle Amber. At the gates to the Castle Amber estate, hundreds
of security personnel inspect the parade goes who wish to advance to the
coronation itself, which is scheduled to take place at the foot of Castle
Amber in full public view.
A full chorus and orchestra is in motion. Delectible food and drinks from
throughout the Republic are on hand. Amber Royal Marines patrol the grounds.
Guests are encouraged to mingle before the coronation begins.
Guests of Honor
Knight Aidan D'Eain of the Jedi Order, is dressed
in fresh dark grey robes with his light saber hanging on his right-hand
side from a simple leather
belt. He also wears a silver bracelet with a geometric pattern of raised
triangles on his right wrist. [more info]
Princess Amorean Qinoah of Rebma, is dressed
in a sky blue gown that contrasts with her red and silver hair carefully
tied and loose in sections. Her angular features smooth skin glows in the
evening light. She wears a single silver earring on left ear, and a necklace
composed of small glass marbles with silver designs etched within them.

Duchess Armel Qinoah of Rebma, is dressed in
a simple purple gown with her streaked brown and red hair folded ornately.

Baird, a well known Pod Racer, is dressed in
a stylized black suit with red pinstripes. He grins around and makes conversation,
in spite of his escort of four Amber Marines who stick with him during

Berhane is a compact woman with a heart-shaped
face and full lips in a burgandygown of crushed velvet. The gown is trimmed
with cream ribbons tied in tiny rosettes at the neckline, hem, and the cuffs
of
her long sleeves, and hugs her generous curves before falling to the floor
in luxurious layers. Above the sweetheart neckline, the woman's dark gold
hair is pulled up and away from her neck into an elaborate bun, showing off
the small
gold heart-shaped pendant with the matched dangling earrings. She is near
Kalen for most of the evening.
Knight Billim of the Jedi Order, is dressed
in what look like borrowed crisp dress robes. He seems to be enjoying
the evening with fellow Jedi and talking about the events of the moon base
from

Queen Coral of Begma and Kashfa, is dressed
in a copper gown with thin green traceries that show and disappear throughout
its design. Green gloves and jewelry compliment the outfit. A lightsaber
hangs ready at her side. [more info]
Linguist for Special Projects in Rebma, Dacia Aarai is
a tall and lean, and moves with easy grace. She wears a simple black evening
gown, cut to compliment her figure. Her hair is long and inky black;
it is worn loose and falls against her pale skin. Her eyes are dark and bottomless.
There is a series of scars on the left side of her face and neck, marks like
cirrus clouds that mar her otherwise perfect complexion. [more

Minister Darian Shevala of Rebma's Interior, is the older gentleman on Helena's arm.
He is thin, and bears a resemblance to her.
He is dressed in a formal suit of grey and mossy green with silver buttons,
his greying pale blue hair worn loose and hanging to his shoulders.
Master Eranin of the Jedi Order, is dressed
in Jedi robes with additional sashes to commemorate her role as a diplomatic
councilor in the Order. [more info]

Chemical Researcher for Special Projects in
Rebma, Evangenele Marlowe of Rebma,
is dressed in a violet evening gown with small sapphires and tiny scallop
shells beaded into it here and there. Her hair is a mix of black and
violet and pulled into a simple twist, held into place by a silver pin.
Her light
gray
green eyes sparkle. Her skin is a greenish gray in direct light rather than
the blue-purple shimmer when underwater. She also has black sandals
and a few silver bracelets on her right arm. She moves with the fluid
grace that comes
naturally to Rebmans. Evangelene is near Lysalas during most of the event.

Faulkner Hesperia Vernath of Rebma and Amber,
is dressed in spotless armor that looks as if it had been made for battle
in a long ago time with Knights
on horseback. The armor is of blue and silver with a chrome shine to it that
catches and reflects the people and items around him. [more

The visor and helm gives no hint of the expression of the man within. Fastened
at the shoulders is a long cape blue on the outside and a brilliant snow white
on the inside. His blade is hung and peace tied in his scabard.
Admiral Gerard of Amber, is dressed in his
dress formal military uniform, complete with a large leather sheathed
sword at his side, peace-tied. A heavy blaster pistol is also at his side.

Duchess Helena Shevala of Rebma, is dressed
simply in a silky floor-length white gown with a high neck, long flowing
sleeves, and matching slippers.
Her lavender hair is pulled up away from her face and flows down her back,
with a few wisps brushing her cheeks. Her only jewelry is a large brooch
pinned at her
throat, a curved silver shield and a beveled six-sided sapphire set off center,
and small sapphire earrings. [more info]
Professor Ian of Karm, Former Supreme Chancellor
of the Republic, Duke of Amber of Karm
is well dressed in a flattering gray and navy suit with a dark velvet cloak.
A proud smile and confident stride reclaim some of his former youth
as he wanders around talking to other guests. [more

Master Jerfahn, Acting Head, of the Jedi
Order surveys events from a distance, dressed in fresh tan and brown robes
fitting her station. [more info]
Johan Bek, a reporter/writer, is dressed in
a purple and white ruffled outfit. A press badge brandished upon his lapel
and a drink in his free hand. Johan wanders around looking for juicy bits
of news to record for posterity. [more info]
Queen Juliette of Avalon remains off to
the side, dressed in white lace, matching her skin color, from the highneck
collar, wrists, and skirt of her black and purple evening gown. Her hands
are bejeweled
and several Avalon Court Guards surround her. [more

Duke Kalen Varr of Amber, son of Prince Gerard,
is vastly different now than most remember his as ne'er-do-well playboy
Kyle Varr. Gone is the wry smile
and mischevious twinkle in the eye. His cheeks, now hidden behind a close
cropped beard appear sunken and hollow. Crow's feet line his eyes and forehead,
making
him appear far older than his years would suggest. He stands tall, though,
perhaps even a little taller than before, and though he doesn't move through
life with his old
grace and ease, the change appears to be, for the most part, for the better.

Kalen is dressed handsomely in a formal outfit, with polished black boots,
black breeches, a dark blue shirt with a black tie and long jacket. Elegant
silver piping runs down both sleeves and the breeches' exterior. His shoulder-length
hair is brushed and tied back with a silver cord.
Senator Koresh of the Alyin System, and Head
of the New World Order faction within the Republic Senate, is dressed
in an elegant charcoal suit with black cloak, and a matte silver ring
upon his right ring finger, that matches his now completely gray mane of
hair. The ring signifying his leadership in the New World Order faction
within the Senate. Several Senate Aides accompany Koresh as he slowly wanders
around
talking to guests. [more info]
Princess Laura of Begma and Kashfa, Is dressed
in a crimson velvet evening gown with a low back. Her long black hair
is cut and tied in a simple Begman braid to the left side. Matching dark ruby
earrings and slippers, white long gloves upon her
arms, and a small silver sphere are her accessories. She is normally quiet
but welcome to speak to others in small groups. Laura can be seen now
and
again looking to where Martin is during the event. [more

Princess Llewella of Rebma and Amber is
dressed in a jade evening gown with green hair and olive skin. Gray gloves
and slippers, and a lightsaber at her side finish Llewella's accessories.

Director of Archaeology for Special Projects
in Rebma, Lysalas, leans forward slightly as he walks as if
straining to listen to music no-one else can hear. His face combines youth
and great age, with his dark eyes plumbing bottomless depths. Raven
black hair falls to his jawline, a sharp contrast to skin of alabaster.
His delicate
fingers are decorated with gaudy rings of coral,
mother-of-pearl and haematite. His clothing has made some compromise to Rebma
fashion, but not sufficiently to make him seem native. He doesn't seem
particularly interested in engaging anyone in conversation, rather being

Count and Senator Marcus Grakt of Tara, is
dressed in a formal brown and black uniform with a black and blue cloak.
Marcus circulates around during the event talking to senators and non-senators
alike. [more info]
Supreme Chancelor to the Republic, Martin, of
Rebma and Amber is dressed in a formal suit of white,
emerald, and brown with small silver pipings. His platinum blonde hair swept
back almost like a movie star, he moves with a natural grace through
the crowds and private conversations at the event. [more

Senator Merit Azuray of Kategeno, is dressed
in simple tan robes and a simple head wrapping with an amber jewel in
its center. He is convivial to all guests, save Koresh. [more

Minister of the Interior of Amber, Norman Ingaroth,
is dressed in his formal Kapitol military uniform with an amber sash across
it, indicating his loyalties to both nations. He walks with a cane. [more

Prince Octavian of Aerth is dressed in an
overly ornate satin and lace affair with intricate gold stitchings and
white folds with pearls and jewels almost as though he were the one being
crowned.
His hair is freshly powdered and his white gloved hands
are pristene. He exchanges witticisms and gossip among those of the elite

Duchess Rhianna Hesperia Vernath of Rebma,
is dressed in a mother of pearl gown that shimmers in silver, pink and grey
as she moves. Her hair often lose and flowing is tied back into a gold netting
dotted with pearls. On her wrists are pink coral bracelets.
King Rinaldo of Kashfa and Begma, is dressed
in resplendid reds and golds with green trim. A friendly face and welcoming
of any and all to chat about news, KashMart, stock prices, TradeFederation,
gossip, Phoenix-Fil-A, and other Republic highlights. [more

Shen Varjeffen a tracker of Avalon, is dressed
in loose fitting black and gray outfit with a dark cloak. His long brown
hair is pulled back. His sword is peace-tied. [more

Senator Val'is Kar Utop of The League of Shadows
is dressed in formal wear from his homeland within the Black Circle. It
is a stitched dark green scale hide that partially reflects natural lighting.

Walter is dressed in a simple formal black
and white suite befitting his station as a servant to the Crown of Amber,
complete with a small gold and green pin indicating his status. [more

Queen Xanieas of Rebma is dressed in a shimmering
glassy aqua and silver gown said to have belonged to her grandmother,
Queen Moins. Xanieas' raven hair is deftly coifed into an ellaborate pattern.
Her
skin paler than underwater, but her appearance
no less regal as she takes in all around her with a rich intensity. [more
