Gauge Panel
| My gauge panel was fabricated from 3003-H14 aluminum plate. A flange was bent in it on its upper side, which fits under the dash pad. Tabs were made and offset bent which insert into the holes for original panel. | |
| The vacant hole in the panel has since been filled with a vacuum gauge. All small gauges are Autometer Ultra-lite 2-1/8" diameter units. Oil gauge (centered between speedometer and tach) is mechanical. Fuel level (upper left), water temp (upper right), and volt meter (lower right) are all electric. | |
| Speedometer is electronic and a very nice piece. It can be recalibrated, virtually, with the push of the red button mounted below it, to compensate for different gear ratios or tire sizes. | |
| Lots of interior work to do on the car yet. Original interior was butterscotch, as can be seen by the small fuse access panel under the steering column. Based on my expected final body color choices, everything will be some shade of dark or light gray, when completed. |
