Subframe Connectors

The subframe connects are home-built pieces and extend about three inches into the front of the factory subframe.  As can be seen, the connectors were then reinforced by the addition of the steel plate that ties into more of the rear seat riser.  A 1-1/8" diagonal tube will eventually be welded into the top of the connector and extend up to the main hoop and cross bar intersection.  That will triangulate the main hoop and add strength to the area.
Nothing much to add to this shot, text wise.  I wanted the connectors to all fit inside the car to maintain a cleaner appearance from underneath.  The only point where they interfere (and are welded to the floor) is under the duct tape that runs cross-wise.  The tape covers a seam in the insulation.
Similar to the rear portion of the connector installation, the front part of the connector is seated into the front seat/floor cross member.  The cross member was boxed in on each side before  the connector was installed and finish welded.
